Olymp

The idea for this BBS was born on the 3rd of december 1995 on a ride from Graz to Innsbruck.
On the 24 December 1995 the Olymp was online for the first time just for testing and on the 06th January 1996 it was official opened.
In March 1996 we moved to the institute for anglistik of the university of innsbruck
Since then the olymp has grown in the number of users into a community of people coming together to share thoughts and ideas from a vast range of topics from computer hardware to cooking, from english to programming languages. The olymp has become a meeting place for hundreds of people.

Many of the team members of the Olymp are or were Students. With many areas to choose from being a project member means you get to try new things with people around you to help you out as you become part of the team.
